At the end of this paper, we introduce how to synthesize and optimize spacetruss design through two cases. The study will help to improve design efficiency. Furthermore, it provides a theoretical basis for the automatic construction of spacetruss structures, especially in the next stage.
The document describes the modeling and analysis of a spacetruss structure in STAAD PRO. Key steps included: 1) Modeling a double layer grid spacetruss with dimensions of 3m x 2m x 0.7m in STAAD PRO.
This paper proposes a modeling method for spacetrusses from the perspective of robotic construction, aiming to simplify the design, analysis, and automated construction planning of large-scale spacetrusses considering robotic operation.
This paper presents a comprehensive reduced-order modeling and solution method for multi-harmonic frequency response analysis of large spacetruss structures with nonlinear joints, which considers six DOFs mechanical characteristics of the joints and is suitable for any form of truss structures.
Spacetrusses are three-dimensional counterparts of planar trusses. They consist of straight members connected at their ends. These members can be made of st...
Truss structures boast a crucial advantage in their capacity to disseminate and transfer loads efficiently. The triangular or polygonal configuration of bars in a truss serves to uniformly distribute forces, thereby curbing the presence of stress focal points and maximising structural stability.
This study focuses on the dynamics of a space in-orbit service simulation experiment platform with suspension rope and column quadrilateral truss structure as connecting devices.
