Major League Baseball will be making a return to the state of Iowa as the Philadelphia Phillies and Minnesota Twins will play in Dyersville at the Field of Dreams game site in 2026. This will be the third MLB game taking place in Dyersville and the first since 2022.

However, after Nightengale broke the initial news that the Phillies would play the New York Mets, The Athletic reported the Phillies would face the Minnesota Twins in Iowa. The MLB is not releasing its schedule for 2026 until Tuesday and the Phillies did not confirm reports on social media immediately.
