U.S. Naval Academy midshipmen choose the next step in their military career by selecting the first ship they will serve on when they are commissioned later this year.

Once a year the academy opens their training ship, State of Michigan, to the community for self-guided tours. This is the opportunity to interact with current maritime cadets.
