A 76-year-old female inmate at the Stark County Jail has died following a medical emergency earlier today, according to a statement released by the Stark County Sheriff’s Office.

The Stark County Sheriff's Office reported that a 76-year-old female inmate at the Stark County Jail died on Aug. 12.

Stark County commissioners have given final approval for the jail renovation, the largest public works project in county history.
