The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) is searching for Kidanny Robles, 33, an inmate who escaped from the Clemens Unit trusty camp in Angleton, Texas.

TDCJ said they noticed Kidanny Robles was missing from the Clemens Unit trusty camp during a routine count around midnight Sunday morning.

Six TDCJ correctional units are located in Gatesville, off of Highway 36, according to the TDCJ’s Unit Directory. Inmates at these facilities make up about half of the city’s population of 16,000.

**ESCAPED INMATE** The Texas Dept. of Criminal Justice says Kidanny Robles, 33, was discovered missing from the Clemens Unit trusty camp in Angleton around midnight.

Police say a warrant will be sought for the 31-year-old inmate, who was not identified and remains in TDCJ custody.
