If you're looking to connect a computer to a TV or monitor, your choices are HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI, and VGA. What's the best connection?

Given a relatively recent PC or laptop, you can connect it to just about any TV with an input.

Some projectors also provide an HDMI port, or less commonly, DVI or USB connections. If both your computer and projector support it, choose HDMI or DVI for a higher-quality display.
