米Microsoftは7月10日（現地時間）、「Excel Labs」で提供していた「Python Editor」を「Microsoft 365 Insider」のBetaチャネルへ移行させると発表した。デザインと使い勝手も改善されているとのことで、現在プレビュー提供中の「Python in Excel」が大きく強化される。

Microsoftは現地時間2024年7月10日、Microsoft Excel (以下、Excel)上でPythonを使用できる「Python Editor」が実験段階からインサイダーベータ段階に進んだことを表明した。Microsoft 365 Insider Programのベータチャネルに参加したMicrosoft 365 AppsのExcelでPython Editorを利用できる。

In September 2023, Microsoft revealed it was launching a Python Editor add-in program for its Excel spreadsheet app in Windows. The optional and experimental add-in came from its Excel Labs division.
