On the PC, you can get high rez and use FSAA and all, but on the PS2 (and other consoles), there's some depth of field effects that help it feel more immersive, and you don't get them on the PC.

Hey Splinter Cell Fans, if you ever feel like going back to the original by all means do so, but do not do it on the Ps2, unless you are comletely die hard and you want to see the new mission paths.
