An expanded GE Aerospace and Qatar Airways partnership, secured during President Trump's controversial visit to Doha, could boost Wilmington workers.

As part of a $96 billion deal, GE Aerospace will provide engines for up to 210 American-made Boeing aircraft ordered by Qatar Airways.

International sales are particularly significant for GE Aerospace, which generates 55 percent of its revenue from selling engines and services to customers outside the United States. The Qatar deal reinforces Huntsville's position in the global aerospace supply chain.
