The body of Yaron Lischinsky, an Israeli embassy employee gunned down in a possible antisemitic attack in Washington D.C. this week, was expected to arrive back in the Jewish state on Friday, officials said.

"Please pray for the families of the victims. We will bring this depraved perpetrator to justice," DHS Sec. Kristi Noem said.

A solemn vigil was held outside the White House to remember Sarah Milgrim and Yaron Lischinsky, the young couple who worked together at the Israeli embassy in Washington and were fatally shot after an event at the Capital Jewish Museum.
