Forecasters say Erick has been upgraded to an "extremely dangerous” Category 4 hurricane near Southern Mexico’s Pacific coast

Hurricane Erick strengthened in the Pacific Ocean and could become a major hurricane before striking Mexico, the National Hurricane Center warned.
