The New York Liberty are finally getting healthy and hope to make a run at getting at least a top four seed and homecourt advantage for the first round of the playoffs. The defending champions have been beset by injuries this season with stars Jonquel Jones and Breanna Stewart both missing extended time.

NEW YORK — Breanna Stewart scored 19 points in her return from injury and Jonquel Jones added 18 to help the New York Liberty beat the Connecticut Sun, 81-79, Monday night. Stewart missed the previous 13 games with a bone bruise in her right knee. She was limited to just 21 minutes, but made the most of them.
