In addition to footwork and body positioning, it's important to stay balanced and in control while fielding. Avoid lunging or overreaching, as it can throw off your balance and lead to mistakes. Keep your body low and centered, with your glove out in front of you, ready to make the play.

When fielding ground balls, focus on moving your feet quickly and efficiently to get into the right position to make the play. Step towards the ball with your glove foot, keeping your body low and your eyes on the ball at all times. Move your feet in a controlled manner to maintain balance and stay in position to make a strong throw.

Always have an eye contact when the pitcher throws the ball. Don’t start playing on a team until you have practiced enough and you how the game works. If you don't know how to play, join a team that is specifically for people who are starting. Keep your eye on the ball.
