    1. Open Excel and ensure the Analysis ToolPak is enabled. If not: Go to File > Options > Add-ins. Select Excel Add-ins from the Manage dropdown and click Go. Check Analysis ToolPak and click OK.

    2. Arrange your data in columns: Place the dependent variable (Y) in one column. Place the independent variable(s) (X) in adjacent columns.

    3. Click on the Data tab and select Data Analysis in the Analysis group.

    4. In the Data Analysis dialog box, select Regression and click OK.

    5. In the Regression dialog box: Enter the range for the Input Y Range (dependent variable). Enter the range for the Input X Range (independent variable(s)). Check Labels if your data includes headers. Specify the Output Range or select New Worksheet Ply for the results.

    6. Optional settings: Check Residuals to include residual analysis. Check Confidence Level to display confidence intervals for coefficients.

    7. Click OK to run the regression analysis. Excel will generate a summary output with key statistics.
