On the Summary page, SOLIDWORKS displays all of the products that it’s adding to your installation. If the list doesn’t contain every additional SOLIDWORKS add-in you want to install, select Change under the Products header and add them from the list. Finally, click the Install Now button.

Start-Up checkbox column = Enable the Add-In each time SOLIDWORKS starts up. Commonly used Add-Ins, such as SOLIDWORKS Toolbox Library or SOLIDWORKS PDM, may be enabled every time SOLIDWORKS launches. Others, such as SOLIDWORKS Simulation or SOLIDWORKS CAM, may only be used very rarely and enabled only when needed.

Carefully click through the Installation Wizard and locate the page that allows you to select add-ins. It will look similar to below Check the add-ins that you have serial numbers for (i.e. SOLIDWORKS Simulation) and click next, then enter the appropriate serial number when prompted.

If you have a shared network license with different license types, you may not want to be using up your Professional or Premium license every time you open SOLIDWORKS. Another method for quickly enabling or disabling Active Add-Ins is to turn on the “SOLIDWORKS Add-Ins” tab in the CommandManager.
