矢竹純 on Instagram: "刻印追加で作りました〜。 大阪でのワークショップも控えているので久しぶりに刻印を何本かこさえました。 普段やらない作業すると楽しいですね〜。 知らない方に説明すると、金属工芸における刻印とはスタンプのことです。 私の場合は銅に打つので、それよりも硬い素材の鋼を使います。 模様部分を銅板に乗せ、上から金鎚で叩くと模様が転写されます。 シンプルな形程、綺麗に出やすく、大きくて複雑な形程、一発では綺麗に出にくいです。 既製品も売っているのですが、あんまり味が無いので手作りしてます。 (下手くそな言い訳) データを送れば完璧で複雑な刻印作ってくれる会社もあるのですが、一本あたりそこそこなお値段するので残念ながらワークショップ用には…ね？ 専門的な話をするとリューターで削ってます。 みんな大好きシーフォースさんで買った 武蔵の超硬ロータリーバーであらかた削って、 BUSCHのスチールバーで細かく彫っていきます。 丸くて細かいバーもスチールではなくて超硬だとより削れるのかもしれませんが、焼戻した鋼相手でしたらスチールバーで十分でした。安いし。 あーでも耐久性が
